GDPR Privacy Policy

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA IN ACCORDANCE WITH REGULATION (EU) 2016/679

The Privacy Policy describes the categories of your data that we process, the methods and purposes for which we collect them, the circumstances in which we transfer personal data, and the various rights and options available to you in this regard. At the same time, our Privacy Policy details how we process personal data in managing customer relationships.

  • Data subjects have the right to request access to, rectification, and deletion of their personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to exercise their right to data portability.


2. Personal Data and Its Collection

The data we collect may include the following:

  • Personal data includes all types of direct or indirect information (i.e., used in connection with other data) referring to a natural person, such as: first and last name, email address, postal address, mobile or landline number, and other similar contact details necessary for contacting you to process placed orders or for other planned purposes in relation with you;

  • We collect, through Google Analytics, data about the features you use, the items you purchase, and the web pages you visit;

IMPORTANT: All information collected by Google Analytics through our websites is purely statistical and cannot be associated with any specific individual. It is possible that Google Analytics stores information about IPs, but such information is not available to us. We can only view statistical data generated.


3. Purpose of Collecting Personal Data

  • Any communication related to informing individuals regarding validation, shipping, and invoicing of orders, resolving cancellations, or any issues related to an order or goods purchased from the online store laboratoarelefiterman.ro;

These may include courier service providers, marketing service providers, payment/banking service providers, IT service providers, or other similar services.

Personal information may also be provided to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Police, courts, or other state authorities, based on and within the limits of legal provisions and following explicit requests.


4. Use of Personal Data

  • We will use personal data only for the purpose for which they were collected and will store the data only as long as necessary for the purposes mentioned above (section 3).


5. Processing Security

We will process data securely and will apply and maintain adequate technical measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, or unauthorized access—particularly when processing involves data transmission over a network—as well as against any other form of unlawful processing.

6. Access, Rectification, or Deletion of Personal Data

  • You have the right to request, at any time, access to, rectification, portability, deletion, or restriction of the processing of collected data.

  • To keep personal data up to date, we recommend that you inform us of any changes or discrepancies.

The consent you have expressed will remain valid until withdrawn by you.
Once you have expressed your written objection, your personal data will no longer be processed, and appropriate measures will be taken to delete all records containing your personal data.

We remind you of your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 679/2016, including the right to information, access, rectification, the right not to be subject to automated decision-making, and the right to erasure.

We may ask you to verify your identity by providing a valid identification copy to comply with security obligations and prevent unauthorized disclosure.

We will consider all requests or complaints received and respond promptly.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may submit a complaint to the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing – headquartered at Bd. Gheorghe Magheru no. 28-30, Bucharest, Romania.


7. Updates to This Privacy Policy

The latest update to this Privacy Policy was made in October 2018.
We reserve the right to periodically update and modify this Privacy Policy to reflect any changes in how we process your personal data or any changes in legal requirements.
In case of such modifications, we will display the updated version of the Privacy Policy on the company’s websites.
